As a result of the Dimensity SoCs, Mediatek has gained a lot of market share. A new excellent chipset from MediaTek, the Dimensity 1050, is now available in the Taiwanese chipmaker’s line-up.
Chipsets based on Dimensity 1100 SoCs offer lower features and functionality. Additionally, it was also the first Intel processor in its history to have dual mmWave connectivity and 5G connectivity below 6GHz.
MediaTek Dimensity 1050 5G Specification
Dual ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.5GHz and built with a 6nm process make up the Dimensity 1050’s Octa-core processor. There are expected to be around six ARM Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, although the company did not specify that.
Additionally, the processor will feature the ARM Mali-G610 graphics processor. This device is compatible with MediaTek’s HyperEngine 5.0 suite so that you can access additional optimization tools and outstanding features. Furthermore, it has a full HD+ resolution screen and a 144Hz refresh rate, hardware-accelerated AV1 video decoding, HDR10+ playback, and Dolby Vision support.
