Honor just announced a couple of laptops that have been in the works for a while in China at its recent launch event. The Honor MagicBook V14 is their first notebook to be Intel Evolution platform certified and is also the world’s very first laptop to come pre-installed with Windows 11 out of the box.
Honor MagicBook V14 Specifications
MagicBook V14 by Honor features a 14.2 inch LTPS LCD Display having a 3:2 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate display, 2.5K screen resolution and it covers 100% sRGD color gamut, supports 1.07 billion colors, and gives the maximum brightness of 400 nits.
Honor MagicBook V14 Camera
The laptop features a 5-megapixel camera with an ISP chip which is used to improve the quality of video calls. It also has four speakers and four microphones along with support for directional pickup as well as 5 meters far-field pickup like the desktop microphone Apple sells on its website.
Honor MagicBook V14 Processor and Storage
This device is powered by Intel Core i5 11th generation processor and the top-level model is powered by Core i7 11th generations processor. The graphics are taken care of by the NVIDIA MX450. The storage configuration is 16GB RAM and 512GB NVMe storage.
Honor MagicBook v14 Features
The laptop comes with a computer fan and a heat pipe for heat dissipation… The company claims that the fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button can unlock the device in 0.7 seconds.
The Honor MagicBook V14 is equipped with an anti-smudge membrane keypad that has a 1.5mm keystroke designed to maximize typing efficiency even during long hours of usage. It also comes with rounded, skin-friendly keycaps made out of resin to help boost durability over prolonged periods of use.
Price, Availability and Color Variants
There are 3 different model variants and ready to pre-order and these models will be available for purchase from 6th October 2021. The base variant of the Honor MagicBook v14 is powered with Intel Core i5-1132H processor, 512GB Storage NVMe, 16GB RAM and integrated graphics card. This device priced at ¥6199 ($959) (Rs.1,62,000/- Pkr). There are two different color variants – Star Gray and Glacial Silver.
The 2nd model is powered with Intel Core i5-1132H processor, 512GB NVMe Storage, 16GB RAM and NVIDIA MX 450. It comes in a Starry Sky Gray color priced at ¥6999 ($1082) (Rs.1,83,000/- Pkr). While the top-end model is powered with Intel Core i7-11390H processor, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA MX450 and 512GB Storage NVMe with the independent display. This variant is priced at ¥79999 ($1237) (Rs.2,10,000/- Pkr) and comes in two colors – Starry Gray and Dawn Blue.
