iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max Launched With 120Hz Refresh Rate

The new iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max has been launched last night. There is a lot of talk about the new versions of the iPhone. Apple is introducing a couple of new features that are also drawing huge attention at the same time. The new iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will introduce a 120Hz refresh rate, which will make it the first smartphone to have a refresh rate greater than 60Hz. The new iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max are here in our hands.

While all the new iPhone 13 models offer updated specs, it’s the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max that’s had Apple fans salivating for a while – their updated displays with high refresh rates.

Features

The Apple A15 Bionic processor comes with iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max. The chip boasts two custom Apple-designed performance cores that are not only up to 70 percent faster, but also use 30 percent fewer steps when working with machine learning algorithms for things like facial detection in photos or AR Apps.

Display

The iPhone 13 Pro models feature a new 120Hz “ProMotion” display that adjusts between 10Hz and 120Hz but both the 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display on the standard model and the 6.7-inch screen on the iPhone 13 Pro Max stay the same size. Just like last year’s models, both new iPhones feature smaller notches than the iPhone 12 models, with just enough screens to fit their cameras, antenna bands, and sensors in without them distracting from videos or photos.

Camera

The iPhone 13 Pro and Apple 13 Pro Max bring improvements to the camera. They have a 12MP f/1.8 ultrawide-angle sensor that captures up to 92% more light than before—the same one that can capture stunning macro shots but at 2cm distances, an upgrade from previous models where you had to be at least 2.5cm away for photos! If taking quality videos is what you’re after, both iPhones now support shooting macro videos in slow time-lapse or even normal speed, which will impress your friends if not leave them speechless.

There is a 12MP f/2.8 lens that brings 3x optical zoom (6x optical zoom range across the system) and 15x digital zoom and in addition to this, it’s also equipped to take clear shots under low-light conditions in nighttime mode. The 12MP f/1.5 lens has an ultra-wide-angle lens, meaning it can capture 2.2x more light on an iPhone and it takes advantage of the LiDAR Scanner when shooting in nighttime mode.

Another great feature of Camera+ is its ability to apply a ‘Style’ to your photos. This stylization allows you to manipulate the tone and warmth of any given image without changing the sky or skin tones.

Video Recording

In September Apple introduced several new video shooting features, including a feature called Cinematic Mode that automatically shifts focus when recording a video. Users have the option to choose from several bokeh levels as well as a lock on which objects the camera will either focus on or leave out of the picture entirely.

Automatic mode changes focus not only on an object entering or leaving a particular frame but also when a person looks away from the camera itself. This feature is available for both front and back cameras, each of them featuring its own TrueDepth functions – wide and telephoto cameras for the front camera and “standard” and telephoto cameras for the rear one.

Battery

The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max still have lightning connectors like their other siblings. However, their battery life is better now – an extra 2.5 hours on the Pro Max and 1.5 hours on the Pro. That’s thanks to an improved processor that has lower power usage.

Wired charging is capped at 20W while MagSafe wireless charging capabilities remain at 15W. You can still use a Qi wireless charger but it’ll charge slower than before as it charges up to 7.5W unless you upgrade to a more powerful charging pad such as one with e-marker technology which allows it to go all the way up to 11W of power input.

Variants

iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Po Max will also be available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants. What else do we want from smartphones when we have 1TB of storage?

Available Colors

The iPhone 13 Pro models will be available in these colors Sierra Blue, Silver, Gold, and Graphite.

Final Words

The new iPhone series will be available for pre-order from Friday and will be available for purchase from September 24. The battery capacity improved and iPhone 13 series is powered with almost all the fantastic features, there’s only one, unlike thing that is still available in this device which is its notch. We don’t want to see the notch now, here we have a sneak peek at iPhone 14 series and we won’t see the notch in iPhone 14 series.
