Horizon Forbidden West is an upcoming action-adventure video game being developed by Playdigious for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4. Set in a distant post-apocalyptic world, players control one of three characters fighting for survival across deserts, mountains, caves and forests. The game has been described as having a dark tone that takes inspiration from Mad Max (2015), with many enemies including mutated animals. Players will have to scavenge for materials to craft weapons such as machetes, knives or bombs in order to fight enemies or help them survive in hostile environments. Horizon Forbidden West is being developed using Unreal Engine and will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment upon release.

Gran Turismo 7 is a game developed by Polyphony Digital for PlayStation 5. The game is exclusive to PlayStation. Gran Turismo 7 will be released on March 4, 2022. Set for release in March of 2022, Ghostwire: Tokyo is a PS5 exclusive from Tango Gameworks that takes players deep into a cyberpunk-inspired open world. The game takes cues from franchises like Yakuza and other open-world games but places an emphasis on over-the-top combat sequences to deliver a dramatic action experience unlike anything else in gaming. You play as members of XNG, Japan’s most elite counter-terrorism unit, who must contend with a large number of enemies (both human and otherwise) over the course of 20+ hours. There’s going to be a new action role-playing video game called Forspoken that will be developed by Luminous Productions and published by Square Enix. On May 24, 2022, it is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows and the PlayStation 5.
There is a story in Forspoken about a young New Yorker named Frey who is transported in a very strange land of Athia. Frey must traverse sprawling landscapes and fight monstrous creatures as she searches for a way home, using her newly discovered magical abilities.

An upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Volition, Inc. It is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in Fall 2022. It will be an open-world action-adventure video game set in an alternate version of Miami, Florida.
