OPPO Electric Vehicles: This month’s article discussed BBK’s smartphone brands applying for trademarks of autonomous and electric vehicles in India. New reports have surfaced suggesting that OPPO may be poised to release a car in the next few years. They mentioned that it will be an electric car and could very well come out early next year.

A report by 91Mobiles says that the Chinese tech giant smartphone company is working on electric vehicles for the Indian market. Such electrified vehicles (including autonomous cars and electric scooters) are in the works at this time. The tipster mentioned that these electric vehicles might launch at the end of 2023 or soon-ish after that (early 2024).
The report reveals possible launch time frames for EVs, predicting Q1 2024 the date of the first production model. The tipster was not able to reveal any finer details like technical or hardware specifications. I cannot confirm this report, but it is something to be on the lookout for. But given how reliable evidence is, we can expect the company to release teasers for its upcoming EVs in the coming months. With the EV market booming, car makers are eyeing to expand their presence in various Asian markets.
Previously, Tesla had announced its plans to launch electric vehicles in India as well, It is hardly surprising that tech giants who have recently started to invest in the automobile segment are aiming to compete in the market, too.
What are your thoughts about this step of BBK Electronics to take part in Electronic Vehicles? We have already covered the article about Qualcomm’s providing chips for BMW self driving cars. We hope for the good of customers, and as much competition there will be the consumer will get more options and price reduction in such production.Spread the love
