OnePlus 10 Pro was launched in China in January 2022, now OnePlus 10 Pro another flagship device by OnePlus is launched globally. As the flagship device has been launched for Indian, European, and North American markets, let’s take a closer look at what the device has to offer.
OnePlus 10 Pro Design & Display
OnePlus 10 Pro features a metal camera housing that melts into the side of the frame, taking design cues from the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. OnePlus’ signature alert slider is found on the right edge, while its matte rear glass panel is found on the back. Dimensionally, the handset measures 163 x 73.9 x 8.5mm in size and weighs 200.5g.
This device features a 6.7-inch second-generation LTPO AMOLED display (flexible), which supports variable refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz. There is an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a punch-hole at the top left corner, and a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels (QHD+). Other specifications include a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a contrast ratio of 5000000:1 and a screen-to-body ratio of 92.7%.
OnePlus 10 Pro Performance
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor has coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs OxygenOS 12.1, which uses Android 12. OPPO’s mobile operating system (ColorOS) shares the OS’ codebase. Features include HyperBoost (for gaming), among others.
A 5,000mAh battery powers the device. Users in Europe and India will get the 80W SuperVOOC power brick, while North American users will get a 65W charger. There is also fast wireless charging support for 50W AirVOOC. Reverse wireless charging is also supported.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is built with a focus on quality and performance, with features such as 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C (USB 3.1). Other features include an x-axis linear vibration motor and dual stereo speaker with the support of Doly Atmos.
OnePlus 10 Pro Camera
With regards to optics, the OnePlus 10 Pro boasts a triple camera setup on its back. 48MP Sony IMX789 main sensor with OIS, 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide sensor, and 8MP 3.3x telephoto sensor. The front of the phone is equipped with a 32 MP Sony IMX615 sensor for selfies and video calls. With Hasselblad’s Natural Color Optimization 2.0, these cameras are optimized with features such as XPan Mode and Hasselblad Natural Color Optimization 2.0.
