It is no secret that Google has been on the front pages of the technology world since its Pixel 6 series was released. Google Pixel 6a, their next mid-range smartphone from the company, has already been leaked online. It has now been revealed by Jon Prosser that the Pixel 6a will launch on April 26th. According to Jon, the Pixel 6a will be available on July 28th.
It has been confirmed by Yogesh Brar, a reliable leaker, that the Pixel 6a will be launched in India. This is absolutely fantastic news for fans who live in India. As a result of not launching the Pixel 6 series in India, Google suffered a severe backlash. In addition, Google Pixel 6a’s design has also been leaked along with its specs and possible features. Unfortunately, the availability of the phone has not been confirmed as of yet.
Google Pixel 6a Expected Specifications
Google hopes to build on the success of the Pixel 6 series with its new Pixel 6a smartphone. The previous report by 91Mobiles indicates the Pixel 6a will retain the camera visor on the back. There is a dual-camera setup at the back, and a single LED flash at the rear as well. The Pixel 6a should have the same primary camera as the Pixel 5. A glass back and metal frame also feature a dual-tone finish, as do its elder siblings.
152.2 x 71.8 x 8.7mm is the approximate size of the phone. The renders by 91mobiles show a 6.2′′ flat OLED display on the front, which has thinner bezels than the vanilla 6. Besides an in-display fingerprint scanner, the device features a selfie camera with a punch-hole in the center. Additionally, there are two grills, one for the microphone and one for the speaker, along with a Type-C port. The device has antenna bands on its four sides, but there is no headphone jack and the SIM card housing is located on the left side. Furthermore, Google is set to use the same Tensor chip for the 6a. I’m excited about this. Consequently, it will offer the same technical prowess as the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro.

I think 6a is going to move the needle, unlike any other Android phone if it is priced similarly to previous Pixel A-series phones. With an insane price-to-performance ratio, it is bound to become one of the hottest products in the market.
