Whatsapp Message Reactions Are Introduced

As promised last month, WhatsApp has rolled out its message reaction feature to its users. The new version of the app now features emoji reactions. Emoji reactions are fun and fast. They reduce overload in groups as well. They also said they’d continue to improve them by adding even more expressions in the future. The system works much like Facebook’s reaction system. A WhatsApp message can be reacted to by long-pressing and selecting an emoji.

Whatsapp Message Reactions
  • Reactions – WhatsApp is adding emoji reactions so people can quickly express their opinions without flooding chats with new messages.
  • Admin Delete – Administrators can eliminate errant or problematic messages from the group chat.
  • File Sharing – We are expanding file sharing to support files of up to 2 GB so that people can collaborate easily.
  • Larger Voice Calls – Users will be able to call up to 32 people at a time with a brand new design. It’s necessary to talk live some of the time.

Currently, you can choose from six emojis – appearing in the Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook post below – but WhatsApp has promised to add more emojis and skin tones in the future.

Currently, WhatsApp supports sending files up to 2GB in size at a time, protected by end-to-end encryption. In comparison with the past constraint of 100MB, this is often an increase for schools and small businesses to collaborate. In order to inform you of how long the exchange will take, we will show a counter when you upload or download.

WhatsApp received a lot of requests for the option of including more people in a conversation. As a result, they are gradually rolling out the capability to include up to 512 people in a group. The group believes that these changes will help individuals and groups remain close to each other and build private, secure communities.

Which new feature do you prefer? We’d love to hear from you. Also, the one you’re looking forward to using most.
