Moto Edge X teaser was released by Chen Jin. Previously in the month of August, Motorola announced the rebranded version of Motorola Edge 20 Pro and Motorola Edge 20 as Moto Edge S Pro and Moto Edge Lite in China. The latest news reveals that Motorola (Lenovo Owned Brand) is working on a new smartphone to launch in China which is named Moto Edge X.
The General Manager of Lenovo, Chen Jin shared a teaser on Weibo of the new Motorola Edge X. The information and specifications regarding this device are not shared yet. Instead, Chen Jin claimed that the device is very powerful and full of expectations.

Moto Edge S Pro was powered by Snapdragon 870 which was the successor of Moto Edge S. Moto Edge X will be powered by the same chipset, which hints about the device will be a flagship device.
Specifications
Qualcomm is expected to launch its new next-gen chipset Snapdragon 898 at the Tech Summit event, which is expected to be held at the end of this month. It is not yet clear that the Moto Edge X will use the latest chipset SD898. Motorola also did not launch any smartphone featuring Snapdragon 888. The possibility that it could use the SD888 chipset, but there is no official news regarding this. We hope the company shares more specs about the phone in the coming days.
Certification
Regarding this news, we have seen a Motorola phone containing model number XT2175-2 certification on the 3C authority of China. It also shows that the handset may use a 33W fast charging support. Another variant of such a device was spotted at Wi-Fi Alliance in September with model number XT2175-1. The previous model Moto Edge S Pro supported 30W fast charging. So we are expecting that the model number XT2175-2 spotted at 3C certification with faster charging support could be Moto Edge X.
