What’s Coming in GTA 6?

The game took a very long period of time to be officially released. Rockstar Games has worked hard to provide us with the greatest experience of all time. The company has made many major changes in this game because they had plenty of time to implement new things and improve technology. Some of the major upgrades and brilliant changes made in GTA 6 are listed below.

1. GTA 6 Timeline/Era/Set in

The first question that comes to mind is what will be the timeline of GTA 6? In which era this game is based? Will it be based on the current time or it will base on a different timeline? and the expected answer is GTA 6 provides us gameplay of 3 different timelines.

Three timelines include the 80s era, 90s era, and the present era (expecting 2019). The game gonna be awesome this time with these three different timelines. The vehicles of GTA 6 will be also different according to their timelines.

GTA V was the biggest game from Rockstar Games that was played for a very long period of time and people never tired of playing such a fun game. It’s been 9 years since the game has been released but people are playing it continuously especially GTA online made it much better and more addictive. GTA 5 was particularly launched for Playstation 3but it was soon made available for other platforms.

If we compare GTA IV with GTA V there were many metrics and highlighted features were introduced in GTA IV that were not available in GTA V. This was happened to reduce the burden on the game and to provide a smooth user experience for GTA V, because GTA V was a huge game with the biggest map till date and it has to run smooth. Developers did not provide many options in GTA V that were available in GTA IV and especially the metrics/AI work of the game.

Now come GTA 6, this game will bring all the features of GTA IV and GTA V together, not only this but this time we will see more new features as well. New Playstation 5 and Xbox are now launched and providing the best user experience of 8k gaming, we are expecting GTA 6 to come in 8k resolution and this game will run smoother as well.

Before reading this section you know what is NPC? NPC stands for Non-Player Character. These are the characters that are available in the game but they just pass by or do their assigned work in the game.

Have you seen the movie “Free Guy”? There was an NPC character in a game who decided to react differently than usual. There was the implementation of AI that made that character think and react differently. Now GTA 6 developers have decided to do the same with the environment and NPC characters. Developers will use AI to improve the presence of NPC in the game.

With the help of AI, these NPCs will react differently every time you start the game from the beginning or any saved checkpoint. NPCs will interact with your character and vehicles will also use AI to react differently every time. Artificial Intelligence (AI) will change the reaction of NPCs which was never before. This change would be amazing, with this change we can see the reality base reaction of NPCs.

5. GTA 6 Map and Location

The GTA series has 3 popular maps the first one is the Liberty City map that already came in GTA III and GTA IV but it was modernized in Liberty City. GTA Sand Andreas map was modernized and used in GTA V. There is only one map left that is yet not revamped or modernized is Vice City’s map. The rumors are pointing that GTA 6 will come with the revamp map of GTA Vice City.

The storyline of GTA 6 will be totally different as it is based on 3 different timelines and the time era is also different from other games. There is no official or unofficial information available on what will be the story of this game but it must be engaging.

GTA 6 will be the first game of the GTA series that is going to introduce a female character along with male characters. The characters of GTA 6 will be very interesting as it has 3 different timelines. There is no information available regarding other characters but the female character is definitely coming in GTA 6. I saw some people already looking for GTA 6 mods. I would like to search too but these searches should be made after the game launches.

8. GTA 6 Expected Revinue in Coming Years

The Rockstar Games pitched its investors that, they will see a 14% of revenue increase in the fiscal year of 2024. So we are assuming the game should bring them a huge revenue as the game is most awaited on the list of game players and I would say everyone would be waiting for this game.

I am mentioning their revenue to assume the launch date of GTA 6 that could be 2023 or as I think personally it could be in November 2022. No matter what this game will definitely bring huge revenue for Rockstar Games and their investors.

9. GTA 6 Platforms

The game will be available for the Playstation 5, Xbox and other consoles. GTA 6 PC game will be available after the consoles. There is another rumor about the game is the developers were also waiting for the PlayStation and Xbox to become mature and stable for the heavy games. After their stable version, the developers will work on the game.

10. GTA 6 Release Date

The release date of GTA 6 is not yet announced or confirmed. As of my personal experience and looking at the previous game releases the launch date of GTA 6 is expected to come in November of 2022 (My Opinion). I am mentioning the month of November because the major titles like GTA III, GTA San Andreas and GTA Vice City were released in the same month. Grand Theft Auto 5 or GTA V was released in the month of October. So as we look at the previous data it is very clear to guess what could be the launch month.
